K9-V has its roots in the historic breeding and training center “Centro Cinofilo dei Volsci,” located in Sora, near Rome, Italy, which has expanded over time to become one of the leading national and international reference points for K9 services for public institutions and private companies, as well as for professional consultancy and training services for Military, Police, and Civil Protection K9 units.

In 2024, K9-V obtained a patent for an invention concerning the training and handling of animals through remotely piloted devices (learn more in the Patent section).

In 2025, it established K9 ITALIA – National Association of K9 Security Professionals, recognized by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy for issuing Professional Qualification Certifications within the field of Security K9 Professionals.

In 2026, it launched its online shop for K9 products and accessories, developed in-house and handcrafted using high-quality materials.
