This notice describes how the personal data of those who visit the website K9-v (https://k9-v.com/) and use its services are processed, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Italian data protection law.

Data controller

K9V. S.r.l., with registered office at Via Giambattista Vico, 31, 00196 Roma (RM), Italy, VAT number 18070351004.

For any request concerning your personal data you can write to office@k9-v.com.

Browsing data

The computer systems that run the website collect, during normal use, some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet protocols: IP address, type of browser and device, pages visited, date and time of requests. They are processed to ensure the operation and security of the website, on the basis of the legitimate interest of the data controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and kept for the time strictly necessary, unless needed to investigate offences.

Requests sent through the website’s forms

If you contact us through the forms on the website, we process the data you enter (for example name, email, phone number and the content of your message) to answer your request, on the basis of pre-contractual measures or our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Providing the data marked as mandatory is necessary to receive a reply.

The data is kept for 24 months from the last communication. If the request leads to a contract, the data is kept for the duration of the relationship and, after it ends, for the period required by law (normally 10 years for accounting records).

Purchases and order management

To manage orders placed on the website we process the data needed to perform the contract (personal, contact, shipping and billing details), on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and to comply with legal obligations, for example tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Payments are handled by specialised providers: the data controller neither knows nor stores the full payment card details.

The data is kept for the duration of the relationship and, after it ends, for 10 years for tax and accounting obligations (Art. 2220 of the Italian Civil Code).
